After seeing Mister Anchovy's great post on the Diddley Bow I was please to stumble across this video. Really nice sound coming from a 3 string cigar box guitar.

There have been three string guitars for a very long time. Bo Diddley was named after the Diddley Bo.
And the early bluesmen played these types of guitars with style and grace.
