I used to have a tape that featured some early BB King material from the 50s and I played that thing to death. I'm OK with all the later stuff, but the early material had that raw Memphis 50s feel that really turns my crank.
I've only had the pleasure of attending one Clapton show. It was when he toured to support the Slowhand recording. The concert took place in a hockey arena and our seats sucked but the show was really good. Funny how things change. I don't know if there are any acts around that would draw me into a hockey arena these days.
