James Lawrence "Jimmie" Vaughan is an American blues guitarist and singer from Dallas, Texas. He is the older brother of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan.
A couple of good ones -----
Significant influence upon Jimmie Vaughan's style came from Freddie King, who advised him personally; from Albert King and B. B. King; as well as from Johnny "Guitar" Watson. Vaughan says that he and his younger brother Stevie Ray Vaughan studied Johnny "Guitar" Watson more than any other single guitaris

The Black Keys - Brothers
Brothers is the sixth album by American blues-rock duo, The Black Keys. It is their third release on Nonesuch Records. It was released on May 18, 2010
BBC Review
This über-hip alt-blues/rock duo from Ohio has packed a lot into the decade they’ve spent together. Their songs have cropped up in an impressive array of recent film, video game and TV soundtracks, and apart from several side projects, Brothers is their sixth full-length album.
The Independent
The Black Keys, it seems, are currently everyone's favourite blue-eyed blues band, occupying the spot previously occupied by The White Stripes, until Jack White dived into prog-rock and Goth diversification with The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather respectively. And unlike most white boys trespassing on blues territory, this duo even seem to have won over the hearts of their black peers – which is just as well, since few young black Americans appear inclined to pursue the blues path themselves.

Candye Kane
Listened to Candye Kane play two hours of blues and Boogie Woogie music out doors in Chula Vista, CA today. She was accompanied by Sue Palmer on piano and Laura Chavez on guitar. They were fabulous as always, made for a nice laid back Sunday even listening to blues music.
Amazon.com says of her;
A former stripper and men's magazine model who also did the occasional X-rated video shoot back in the '80s, Candye Kane would be the blues version of the Andrea True Connection, but for one vitally important fact: this woman can really sing! An updated version of Bessie Smith with a wicked sense of humor and a gleefully omnisexual persona, Candye Kane and her backup band the Swingin' Armadillos aren't just a novelty act, but a sassy, smart, and always-entertaining mix of sex, showbiz, and swing.

Chris Farlowe - The Best of
In the later part of the sixties he did the classic - Handbags and Gladrags, written by his friend Mike d’ Abo of Manfred Man and recently covered by the Stereophonics.
This was to be his last chart success.
In the 70’s Chris sang with the band Colosseum before he moved on to the group Atomic Rooster.
He was involved in a serious road accident which stopped him recording and performing for a couple of years.
He worked with various bands/musicians througout the 80’s and 90’s and
he still performs live today.

Chicago’s Reader raved, “His musicianship is unassailable…a combination of sleek-handed dexterity and imagination…a happy marriage of blues authenticity and foot-pleasing danceability. This is a young musician of unlimited enthusiasm and nearly unlimited potential having the time of his life and excelling at every stop along the way.”

Pink Anderson & Simmie Dooley — Every Day In The Week Blues
Syd Barrett, of English progressive rock band, Pink Floyd, came up with the band's name by juxtaposing the first names of Anderson and North Carolina bluesman, Floyd Council. Barrett noticed the names in the liner notes of a 1962 Blind Boy Fuller album (Philips BBL-7512). The text, written by Paul Oliver, read: "Curley Weaver and Fred McMullen, (...) Pink Anderson or Floyd Council - these were a few amongst the many blues singers that were to be heard in the rolling hills of the Piedmont, or meandering with the streams through the wooded valleys."
