Can anyone tell me about this - John Peel was a UK hero for many of us, this was his signature tune

Grinderswitch is the name of the band that play Pickin The Blues from their album Macon Tracks.

Not much info on their website though.

The track itself was number 27 in Peels Festive Fifty in 1976.; 2:59 AM
