He was sort of a peculiar talent. To me, he sounded even more eccentric when they got him on the piano. From what I've read about him, he was pretty curmudgeonly too. I remember reading, and I might have this wrong because it's been a while but the bit went something like this: Some guy ''studying'' Skip-probably an a**hole using him to get famous- relays how he was when he knew him and he said a car went by honking and had a ''just married'' sign on the back and Skip snapped ''Wonder if they'll be honking like that when they get divorced.'', lol. I always thought that was funny.
Well I hope they stayed married, and I wonder if they are still married and if they honked if they did get divorced.
That would probably have made a good blues song too.
