Adolfo "Fito" de la Parra (born 8 February 1946 in Mexico City) is a mexican drummer best known as a longtime member of Canned Heat.
Adolfo began playing drums in a band called Bluesberry Jam which eventually turned into Pacific Gas & Electric. In 1967, he replaced Canned Heat's original drummer, Frank Cook and played his first gig with the band on December 1, 1967. He joined in time for their second album, Boogie with Canned Heat, and has played on every subsequent album up to present day.
Fito is the only member of the classic 1960s Canned Heat that is tours with the current version of Canned Heat, although Larry Taylor and Harvey Mandel make occasional appearances. He has written a book about the band called Living the Blues.
