Several News outlets are reporting that Blues, soul and R&B music diva Etta James was recently hospitalized in California and is in critical condition. She is reported to be suffering from sepsis, a type of blood poisoning.

Dog gone. I hope she gets well. Etta James has been one of my favorites for a long time now.
