The 11th Maryport Blues Festival takes place over the weekend of July 24th, 25th & 26th July, when the small Cumbrian harbour town of Maryport will once again be alive with the best in blues music.
This year, over 40 bands and 150 individual musicians from all over the globe will be performing in the main stage marquee, in the pubs and clubs and on an outdoor stage and on the street, to thousands of visitors from all over the UK.
Headliners Jethro Tull and John Mayall are supported by Ruby Turner and The Blues Band amongst many others.

Jethro Tull? I haven't heard that name in years.
Neither had I - if you look at their website you can certainly remember/recognise Ian Anderson.
I used to play Aqualung on my little cassette player all the time.
