Which do you prefer? I like this song, it brings all those sad blues feelings that mix so well with the sadness that Christmas can also sometimes invoke.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas and that your blues are not too blue.
But you tell me, who does "Christmas Tears" better Freddie King or Eric Clapton?
And a very Merry Christmas shout out to Blues Pinoy for bringing the song to my attention.

for me, Slowhand, without a doubt.
Hope you had a great Christmas. I really enjoy your blog. Lizzy
I agree with ER, Mr. Clapton without a doubt.
Depends upon my mood - on the whole Eric because I've grown up with him.
I have to agree with Ron. It would totally depend on how I was feeling at the time. Clapton for me was also a familiar figure while growing up. On this version Clapton is incredible, so much so that I used it for my Xmas post as well.
Looks like Clapton took it running away. You guys made the call. Thanks for playing along and for leaving a comment. :)
