Down At The Field - Ry Cooder

 A very, very good album

Telegraph
Stunning songs of protest from American guitar legend Ry Cooder ...... The lyrics are bitingly satirical - "with champagne and shrimp cocktails/and that's not all you find/there's a billion dollar bonus/and no banker left behind"  .... “These times call for a very different kind of protest song. ‘Where Have All the Flowers Gone?’ We’re way down the road from that.” If protest is what you want, Cooder has delivered it magnificently.
