My father was a big fan of Louis Jordan and His Tympany Five, and for good reason. These guys could rock.

He was one of the most popular and outstanding bandleaders of his day. He also collaborated with Louis Armstrong.
I've enjoyed listening to these Mr Anchovy - thanks again.
Interestingly he was born on the same day of the same year as my maternal grandfather.
