His Best 1947 To 1955 - Muddy Waters

Paraphrasing the Amazon introduction -

One of the best recordings in Chess Records' 50th Anniverary series. Probably when Muddy was at his peak. Lots of bottleneck slide guitar work and electric Chicago blues. Remasterings of "I Can't Be Satisfied", "Rollin' and Tumblin'," "I'm Ready", and "Mannish Boy". With simple bass accompaniment from Ernest "Big" Crawford, Waters's bottleneck tracks are spare and haunting

What is there not to like?

This is a version with Rory Gallagher

Yeah, this is definitely his best stuff. As a harp player, I'll add that it's Little Walter's best stuff, too.
